Faith isn’t just something we believe. It’s something we’re called to live.
Why Expedition
Expedition Ministries was born from a simple conviction: becoming a Christian isn’t the finish line. It’s the beginning of a journey.
For too long, we’ve allowed Christianity to become something we know about rather than something that transforms the way we live. We can attend church, study Scripture, understand theology, and still struggle to put God’s Word into practice in our everyday lives.
But Jesus didn’t simply call us to become students of information. He called us to become disciples.
That distinction is at the heart of Expedition.
A Journey of Surrender
My own journey with Christ hasn’t always followed the path I expected. Life has brought challenges, unexpected changes, and seasons where the plans I had for myself no longer looked anything like the road ahead.
Through those experiences, I’ve continued learning something that has reshaped the way I approach my faith:
“God, I don’t need my plans fulfilled. I need Your Word fulfilled in my life.”
That conviction is what I want Expedition to reflect.
Faith in Everyday Life
This ministry isn’t about pretending to have everything figured out. It’s not about presenting a picture of perfect Christianity or claiming to have all the answers.
It’s about walking alongside others as we open Scripture, challenge our assumptions, examine our choices, and learn what it truly means to follow Jesus.
It’s about recognizing the humanity of people we disagree with. Learning to love when love is difficult. Choosing forgiveness when holding on to hurt feels easier. Allowing God’s truth to challenge us instead of simply searching for verses that affirm what we already believe.
And it’s about understanding that spiritual growth isn’t measured only by how much Scripture we can quote, but by how faithfully we’re allowing that Scripture to shape our lives.
What You’ll Find Here
Through The Practical Walk Series: From Saved to Disciple, Expedition Ministries seeks to explore the everyday realities of following Christ—comparing what the world teaches with what God designed, and using Scripture as our foundation.
My hope is that Expedition becomes a place where people are encouraged to ask meaningful questions, grow in biblical understanding, and take practical steps toward becoming more like Christ.
Not because any of us have arrived.
But because we’re all still on the journey.
Welcome to Expedition Ministries. A Journey With Christ.
